Using Somewhere Safe

Somewhere Safe helps you record belongings, organize storage locations, label containers and schedule reminders. Use the service lawfully and provide only information and images that you are entitled to store. Do not attempt to access another person's inventory, compromise the service or misuse shared features.

Your account and content

Keep your login credentials secure. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your inventory and for the content you upload. The service processes and stores that content to provide inventory, synchronization, export, backup and reminder functions, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Inventory and reminders

Inventory records describe the information you enter; they do not verify the existence, condition, ownership or value of physical property. Reminder delivery depends on permissions, network connectivity, device settings and third-party delivery services. Keep separate records or reminders for matters where a missed alert could cause harm.

Backups and exports

Restore replaces current inventory with a selected saved snapshot. Review the confirmation before continuing. You are responsible for copies you export, print or share. Keep your own export when you need a record independent of this service.

Third-party services

Some features use hosting, email, transcription, QR generation and notification providers. Availability can depend on those providers. Device permissions and their applicable terms also govern your use of those services.

Ending use

You can stop using the app at any time. To remove your account and its stored data, use Settings > Account > Delete Account and complete the confirmation. Account deletion is permanent. If you need help accessing your account, contact Somewhere Safe, LLC at administrator@somewheresafe.co.
